After a rather tough play, Black Sails FC's Gordon Justice got a free kick in the 6th minute. Craig Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Ball, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Donnie Ragland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Piney's Stewart Bearden got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 24th minute, Vicente Burns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donnie Ragland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Yoder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donnie Ragland in the 38th minute of play forced Piney's goalkeeper Ty Yoder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Donnie Ragland got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ignacio Kuhn kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Looney in the 47th minute of play. The Black Sails FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piney were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jeramy Langston made the kick off in the second half. Craig Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Looney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Stewart Bearden in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Black Sails FC's Vicente Burns. Diego Looney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeramy Langston in the 62nd minute of the match. Art Geiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Yoder having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Piney's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Fisher came free, but Ty Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mervin Waddell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Craig Velazquez made a huge save. Craig Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Ball, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black Sails FC's Donnie Ragland got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ty Yoder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donnie Ragland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Piney defense, Eric Fisher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ty Yoder. The Piney fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ty Yoder should have stopped the shot. Albert Burgess's late challenge caught a Piney's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Burgess helped the player get up and apologised.
