Barker. The Wellford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that J.C. Barker should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerry Hudson got free with J.C. Barker in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Van Poole in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shayne Garland in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emery Couch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Girth FC's Emery Couch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weldon Phillips in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Girth FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Allen Stover hit a great ball. If Shayne Garland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emery Couch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Bassett in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Hudson came free, but J.C. Barker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Girth FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wellford AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shayne Garland was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute Kerry Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Barker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Wellford AFC's Weldon Phillips fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Emery Couch was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. J.C. Barker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerry Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Kerry Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Kerry Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Barker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Girth FC booed when Wellford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madars Uchiha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Landis came free, but J.C. In the 89th minute of the match Neil Landis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but J.C. Barker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wellford AFC's zone, Kerry Hudson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. J.C. Barker came out of the goal and Kerry Hudson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Kerry Hudson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Neil Landis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Landis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
