If Mitch Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ty Yoder came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn. But to his dismay, Mitch Dunn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Piney's Ty Yoder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Dunn in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ty Yoder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitch Dunn in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ty Yoder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Phyperstars FC's Woodrow Ricks to fire away a dangerous shot which Ty Yoder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mitch Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ty Yoder having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Phyperstars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Looney came free, but Russell Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Kip Blount hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ty Yoder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Dunn in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Mitch Dunn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piney's Ty Yoder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Woodrow Ricks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Piney got a freekick which was hit by Kip Blount. In the 42nd minute Ron McElroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Mervin Waddell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piney's supporters rose to their feet, but Mervin Waddell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russell Lund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Phyperstars FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gustavo Kessler hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Mitch Dunn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ty Yoder having to make a save. Ty Yoder stood somewhat misplaced when Mitch Dunn came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 60 minute. In the 62nd minute, Tracy Landry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Piney's Ralph Sellers got a free kick in the 64th minute. Diego Looney took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Russell Lund. Russell Lund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When Mervin Waddell came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Piney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mervin Waddell couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Phyperstars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Kessler to maneuver through the defense. Russell Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeramy Langston, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th match minute, Piney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Ball to maneuver through the defense. Ty Yoder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron McElroy in the 81st minute of the match. Vince Link kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ty Yoder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mitch Dunn in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Piney's Ty Yoder got control of the ball when Woodrow Ricks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mitch Dunn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Ty Yoder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piney's goalie prevented a goal. The Phyperstars FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
