Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) Flame Throwers's Dave Paris started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ben Gilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Flame Throwers's Dave Paris in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Waldo Helton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Navarro in the 16th minute of play. Shaki Conn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinaldo McCormick's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, ForestFire's Tracy Shah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldo Helton. In the 24th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Gilliam to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Gilberto Posey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Flame Throwers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dillon Galindo hit a great ball. Waldo Helton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Gilliam in the 29th minute. ForestFire's Shaki Conn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Paris in the 30th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Waldo Helton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35thth minute of the game Lucas Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Navarro was the one to do the kick off. Shaki Conn came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Flame Throwers's Reinaldo McCormick. But to his dismay, Reinaldo McCormick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a little luck, ForestFire's Shaki Conn got control of the ball when Dave Paris tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Hyatt. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Shaki Conn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Shaki Conn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Posey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Gilliam in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldo Helton saved Flame Throwers from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tracy Shah in the 74th minute of play forced Flame Throwers's goalkeeper Waldo Helton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flame Throwers's goalkeeper Waldo Helton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Lucas Navarro made a precise shot to the right of Waldo Helton. Flame Throwers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Dave Paris came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Flame Throwers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Paris couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Flame Throwers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Hyatt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ForestFire fans cheered their team off the field, for while Flame Throwers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
