In the 3rd minute of the match, Wes Nichols got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldo Helton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton got control of the ball when Wes Nichols tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wes Nichols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Waldo Helton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldo Helton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Donnelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo McCormick came free, but Yoel Quevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldo Helton had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Chris Bateman from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Waldo Helton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Bateman's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Waldo Helton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Donnelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Waldo Helton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wes Nichols in the 22nd minute. With an all-out effort, Recolta Alamor's Waldo Helton threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Bateman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25th minute, Dave Paris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yoel Quevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Wes Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recolta Alamor's supporters rose to their feet, but Wes Nichols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldo Helton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yoel Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo McCormick in the 32nd minute of play. Wes Nichols's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Waldo Helton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Emmanuel Pennington hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Paris to strike the kick off in the second half. Wallace Newman kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Flame Throwers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theron Milligan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoel Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo McCormick in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Nichols came free, but Waldo Helton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoel Quevedo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Dave Paris sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Bateman came free, but Waldo Helton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Paris. Flame Throwers were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Recolta Alamor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dave Paris took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dave Paris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yoel Quevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scotty Dietz in the 75th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Yoel Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Dave Paris almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Recolta Alamor's Yoel Quevedo did a great save. Reinaldo McCormick received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yoel Quevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Reinaldo McCormick slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 79th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Wes Nichols who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Phil Riggs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recolta Alamor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Recolta Alamor's Luciano Cronshagen was substituted for Norman Donnelly. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Scotty Dietz in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoel Quevedo saved Recolta Alamor from getting behind. When Flame Throwers's Scotty Dietz, in the 91st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Flame Throwers. The crowd rose to their feet as Flame Throwers's Reinaldo McCormick slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yoel Quevedo. That made the score 1-3 after 96 minutes of play. The Recolta Alamor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Flame Throwers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
