Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Pueblo FC's Douglas Medley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Waldo Helton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime McClendon in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Pueblo FC got a corner. Flame Throwers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime McClendon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jaime McClendon made a great header on Pueblo FC's corner, it was just that Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton managed to reach the ball for a save. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Paris in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flame Throwers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime McClendon was slow to take the kick. During this time Pueblo FC's players had a chance to rest. Waldo Helton made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jackson Valle sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Jackson Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueblo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Boyd Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo McCormick in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Flame Throwers got a freekick which was hit by Dillon Galindo. Waldo Helton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime McClendon in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Pueblo FC were awarded a corner. Jaime McClendon went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 32nd of the match, Gerry Franco tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Waldo Helton got in the way and made a wonderful save. Douglas Medley did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Waldo Helton 36 minutes into the match. Douglas Medley's late challenge caught a Flame Throwers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Medley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pueblo FC's Douglas Medley got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Medley got free with Waldo Helton in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldo Helton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Medley in the 43rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Douglas Medley put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Waldo Helton. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaldo McCormick to make the kick off. Waldo Helton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Medley in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Pueblo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammed Flanagan to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's goal looked a bit too open when Russell Hare came free, but Waldo Helton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Gilberto Posey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russell Hare scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldo Helton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russell Hare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Waldo Helton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Boyd Winkler managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Flame Throwers's Dave Paris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Waldo Helton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime McClendon in the 69th minute of the match. Waldo Helton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russell Hare, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pueblo FC's Douglas Medley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldo Helton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waldo Helton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Medley, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Flame Throwers's Gilberto Posey got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waldo Helton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblo FC. 87 minutes into the game, Jason Mills was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pueblo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flame Throwers the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Pueblo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Mills to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Russell Hare in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldo Helton saved Flame Throwers from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flame Throwers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pueblo FC.
