Spectators: 9176 (Terracing: 6896, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 180) Evangel FC's Serginho Chulapa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Evangel FC's Serginho Chulapa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rinto Kalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Evangel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stacy Kitchen came free, but Zackary Sampson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danial Salter in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zackary Sampson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Johnathon Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garth Wray, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 24 minutes Evangel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Garth Wray who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Roland Davenport advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 24th minute. Ian Chung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zackary Sampson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zackary Sampson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danial Salter in the 29th minute of the match. Serginho Chulapa struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rinto Kalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evangel FC. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lake Wales FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Royce Kay was slow to take the kick. During this time Evangel FC's players had a chance to rest. If Roland Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zackary Sampson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Wray, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Royce Kay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Chung to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Stacy Kitchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Wales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stacy Kitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Chungs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Zackary Sampson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Serginho Chulapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lake Wales FC's Rinto Kalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 65th minute of play. Zackary Sampson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Chung in the 67th minute. Zackary Sampson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Chung went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Evangel FC's Albert Jarrell was substituted for Georg Ulrich Hendrickson. A sloppy throw-in by Jarvis Whitney in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Evangel FC's Carl Hopper. After having played for 75 minutes, Terrence Perkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evangel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Perkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Evangel FC booed when Lake Wales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Chung didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes, Evangel FC's Terry Lusk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rinto Kalla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Evangel FC reached it. After 82 played minutes Evangel FC got a freekick which was hit by Albert Jarrell. Roland Davenport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lake Wales FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jarvis Whitney hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Terrence Perkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Evangel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Roland Davenport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute of the match Royce Kay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rinto Kalla skillfully saved the ball. Rinto Kalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Perkins in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Evangel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Royce Kay to maneuver through the defense. Lake Wales FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
