The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Amir Lee who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldo Helton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Lee in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Waldo Helton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldo Helton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amir Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's Scotty Dietz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Wilhelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 44th minute of play. Waldo Renteria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldo Helton having to make a save. Waldo Helton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Lee in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Reinaldo McCormick made the kick off in the second half. Barlas Aydın hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Dave Paris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldo Helton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldo Renteria in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Lee in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldo Helton saved Flame Throwers from getting behind. Waldo Helton made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Amir Lee sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo McCormick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Wilhelm was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Waldo Helton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cascade Park West's Amir Lee shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Claude Joyner replaced Amir Lee. In the 91st minute Dave Paris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flame Throwers's Waldo Helton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Singleton in the 92nd minute of play. The Flame Throwers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cascade Park West's performance. The match ended with a win for Cascade Park West.
