Spectators: 9256 (Terracing: 6976, Seating: 2100, VIP seats: 180) Pueblo FC's Jaime McClendon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldo Singleton kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Royce Kay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boyd Winkler skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Royce Kay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evangel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pueblo FC the free kick. In the 10th minute, Royce Kay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliott Fuller charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliott Fuller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute of the match Jackson Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zackary Sampson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Gerry Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zackary Sampson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Johnathon Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes Evangel FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jackson Valle who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pueblo FC's Jackson Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Zackary Sampson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 35th minute of play. When Gerry Franco came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pueblo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerry Franco couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serginho Chulapa to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Mohammed Flanagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jackson Valle made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Evangel FC's Johnathon Vargas. The audience was convinced that Serginho Chulapa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boyd Winkler was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After having played for 58 minutes, Jaime McClendon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueblo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime McClendon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boyd Winkler came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Evangel FC's Serginho Chulapa. But to his dismay, Serginho Chulapa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime McClendon in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zackary Sampson saved Evangel FC from getting behind. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Evangel FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jackson Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time Pueblo FC's players had a chance to rest. Evangel FC's Terrence Perkins was substituted for Serginho Chulapa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerry Franco in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zackary Sampson saved Evangel FC from getting behind. A collision led to Evangel FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Johnathon Vargas hit a great ball. Zackary Sampson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jackson Valle. Boyd Winkler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrence Perkins in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Terrence Perkins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boyd Winkler was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Zackary Sampson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jaime McClendon sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Terrence Perkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyd Winkler. Pueblo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terrence Perkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Pueblo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
