Darnell Metcalf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. American Airlines were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Markham FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darnell Metcalf took the corner. Anoush Khalatbari was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jonah Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Wesley Driscoll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isto Holttinen in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arvin Hökkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anoush Khalatbari in the 14th minute of the match. Wesley Driscoll received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arvin Hökkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Driscoll slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Markham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anoush Khalatbari came free, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Hökkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Driscoll in the 26th minute. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonah Ryan in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goalkeeper Arvin Hökkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isto Holttinen. Markham FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after American Airlines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daren Kelley took the corner. Daren Kelley made a great header on Markham FC's corner, it was just that American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. 35 minutes into the game, Kadim Ulaş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Markham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Airlines the free kick. American Airlines's Chandler Bing was substituted for Jonah Ryan. Kadim Ulaş hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to American Airlines getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adrián Pádár hit a great ball. Daren Kelley was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Edwin 雷震南 managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Airlines's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin 雷震南 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bektaş Veli Tokuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Trevino. Markham FC made a substitution. Terrell Zuniga replaced Orville Bowen. The supporters of Markham FC booed when American Airlines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Trevino didn't get a good kick on the ball. American Airlines's Arvin Hökkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save American Airlines from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wesley Driscoll made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isto Holttinen in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arvin Hökkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by American Airlines's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terrell Zuniga was slow to take the kick. During this time Markham FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 56th minute of the match Markham FC got a corner. American Airlines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Terrell Zuniga ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Monroe Mims got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arvin Hökkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56th minute, Monroe Mims ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvin Hökkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Markham FC's Roman Holder was substituted for Russell Garrett. Arvin Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isto Holttinen in the 60th minute of play. Markham FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after American Airlines's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Terrell Zuniga took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Craig Weber heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Adrian Trevino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Bektaş Veli Tokuz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arvin Hökkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bektaş Veli Tokuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darnell Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bektaş Veli Tokuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anoush Khalatbari's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Isto Holttinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Driscoll in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Carlo Trujillo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isto Holttinen in the 96th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Arvin Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the American Airlines players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Markham FC.
