An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Pekşen in the 19th minute of play forced Markham FC's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tokuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Urtzi got free with Kaj Helström in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bektaş Veli Tokuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Pekşen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niles Crane in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bektaş Veli Tokuz saved Markham FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Niles Crane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bektaş Veli Tokuz was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Isto Holttinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Kaj Helström made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Daren Kelley came free, but Kaj Helström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bektaş Veli Tokuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Isto Holttinen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaj Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
