In the 11th minute, Alonso Snider reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tyrone Fowler. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 14th minute João Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Antonio Corley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tyrone Fowler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 18 minutes into the game, San Antonio HotSPURS's Leroy Vega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
