Iurie Dășanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Malbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Don Malbec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlotte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Malbec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nigel Cordero took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryant Miles. Bryant Miles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Pascal Hayden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The þînk þ£st ƒç fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After taking down the ball on Charlotte FC's corner Kaja Jamak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iurie Dășanu quite easily take care of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Cordero came free, but Bryant Miles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremiah Jeffries struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bryant Miles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for þînk þ£st ƒç. After 35 minutes of play, Charlotte FC's Don Malbec made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Dășanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryant Miles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nigel Cordero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. þînk þ£st ƒç were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Charlotte FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Preston Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, þînk þ£st ƒç's Pascal Hayden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryant Miles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Don Malbec to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes þînk þ£st ƒç got a freekick which was hit by Cihangir Refettin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Malbec in the 54th minute of play forced þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Iurie Dășanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryant Miles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Cordero in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Cordero in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryant Miles saved Charlotte FC from getting behind. When Charlotte FC's Don Malbec in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye þînk þ£st ƒç's goalie prevented a goal. The Charlotte FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Charlotte FC's Don Malbec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iurie Dășanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Hitz in the 80th minute of the match. Bryant Miles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Cordero in the 90th minute of the match. þînk þ£st ƒç's Iurie Dășanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Rafferty in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, þînk þ£st ƒç was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Adair to maneuver through the defense. When Charlotte FC's Vicente Rafferty in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye þînk þ£st ƒç's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Charlotte FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while þînk þ£st ƒç had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
