Lanny Gilmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Dășanu having to interfere. After some careless play in the þînk þ£st ƒç defense, Lanny Gilmore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iurie Dășanu. The þînk þ£st ƒç fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iurie Dășanu should have stopped the shot. Santos FC's Titus Kohler quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Duncan Allison, made in the 16th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iurie Dășanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Terence Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terence Nicholas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Bob Seger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Smallwood having to interfere. þînk þ£st ƒç's Iurie Dășanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the Santos FC defense, Nigel Cordero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Smallwood. The Santos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Smallwood should have stopped the shot. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Cordero in the 45th minute of the match.

After 52 minutes of play, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Dășanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tory Weeks hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Cordero came free, but Aaron Smallwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match þînk þ£st ƒç got a corner. Santos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Preston Dias ran over to the corner to take the kick. þînk þ£st ƒç's Preston Dias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aaron Smallwood in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The corner led þînk þ£st ƒç's Preston Dias to fire away a dangerous shot which Aaron Smallwood despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lanny Gilmore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Iurie Dășanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Smallwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Seger in the 67th minute. þînk þ£st ƒç were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Santos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Preston Dias took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Santos FC's goalie and right to Deshawn Hoskins. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Santos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Aaron Smallwood made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Bob Seger sent off a good shot on target. þînk þ£st ƒç's Iurie Dășanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Gilmore in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, þînk þ£st ƒç's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Iurie Dășanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Santos FC got a corner. þînk þ£st ƒç's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Warren Ruiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Warren Ruiz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iurie Dășanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Santos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of þînk þ£st ƒç for a fine match.
