After taking down the ball on University of Rochester's corner Babbis Moisakos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iurie Dășanu quite easily take care of the ball. Iurie Dășanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of University of Rochester booed when þînk þ£st ƒç was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deshawn Hoskins didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Kirkpatrick in the 40th minute of play forced þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Iurie Dășanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dale Kirkpatrick made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Iurie Dășanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrei Cerbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. University of Rochester's Andrei Cerbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Hayden in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Berry Chan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The þînk þ£st ƒç fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when þînk þ£st ƒç's Nigel Cordero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrei Cerbu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Cordero in the 67th minute of the match. Nigel Cordero made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by University of Rochester's Wayne Bragg. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Iurie Dășanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrei Cerbu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Hayden in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, University of Rochester's Dale Kirkpatrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iurie Dășanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute Jeremiah Jeffries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Cerbu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to University of Rochester getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Maxwell Calcagnini hit a great ball.
