Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Charlotte FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubin Milton in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryant Miles saved Charlotte FC from getting behind. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jaques Van Mellaert hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubin Milton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Rafferty in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Harrison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlotte FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Brown Deer AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaja Jamak took the corner. The corner led Charlotte FC's Kaja Jamak to fire away a dangerous shot which Jack Harrison despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th minute, Jaques Van Mellaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brown Deer AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
