Elijah Irving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lonnie Blankenship showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otis Short in the 14th minute of the match. Lonnie Blankenship made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cao Shi Yi in the 16th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Lonnie Blankenship successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lonnie Blankenship didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cao Shi Yi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Cao Shi Yi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lonnie Blankenship was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lonnie Blankenship made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Cao Shi Yi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otis Short in the 35th minute of play forced Colonie FC's goalkeeper Lonnie Blankenship to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colonie FC's Lonnie Blankenship proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Colonie FC from getting a goal against them. Colonie FC's Lonnie Blankenship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Singleton in the 78th minute of play. Elliott Bogren hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Lonnie Blankenship showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shelton Flanagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Shelton Flanagan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lonnie Blankenship was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to Colonie FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Preston Simons hit a great ball. Lonnie Blankenship showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grant Foote, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After taking down the ball on The Team FC's corner Shelton Flanagan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lonnie Blankenship quite easily take care of the ball. Preston Simons charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Preston Simons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Rex McLain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Team FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
