Iurie Dășanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Nascimento in the 13th minute of the match. Iurie Dășanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dexter Holt, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Iftodi got free with Iurie Dășanu in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Panathinaikos FC defense, Nigel Cordero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Dutton. The Panathinaikos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Dutton should have stopped the shot. In the 24thth minute of the game Pascal Hayden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panathinaikos FC's Mario Dutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 26 minutes Panathinaikos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berry Chan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Berry Chan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panathinaikos FC's Mario Dutton did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Cordero in the 27th minute of play forced Panathinaikos FC's goalkeeper Mario Dutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Panathinaikos FC's Glauco Nascimento made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascal Hayden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mario Dutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Glauco Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Dășanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Glauco Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iurie Dășanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 83rd match minute, Panathinaikos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Cangiano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Holt in the 87th minute of play forced þînk þ£st ƒç's goalkeeper Iurie Dășanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Cordero came free, but Mario Dutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nigel Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Dutton having to interfere. Chants of þînk þ£st ƒç echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Panathinaikos FC had held the ball for most of the match.
