But to his dismay, Mohammed Branch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Danial McDermott made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Wiley Enriquez sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Christie in the 8th minute of play forced Brown Deer AFC's goalkeeper Jack Harrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Harrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Christie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Connor Christie came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Chisholm Rookie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Connor Christie couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Chisholm Rookie's Connor Christie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Harrison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Billy Buck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chisholm Rookie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Danial McDermott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiley Enriquez in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Jackson Caballero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chisholm Rookie and the Brown Deer AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Chisholm Rookie:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brown Deer AFC:s goal. Mohammed Branch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Harrison having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Buck in the 33rd minute of play forced Brown Deer AFC's goalkeeper Jack Harrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohammed Branch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jack Harrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubin Milton got free with Danial McDermott in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brown Deer AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ralf Kadastu in the 38th minute. The supporters of Brown Deer AFC booed when Chisholm Rookie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Buck didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Chisholm Rookie getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Santo Gordon hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiley Enriquez to make the kick off. Danial McDermott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiley Enriquez in the 60th minute of the match. When Rodolfo Sutil fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brown Deer AFC's protests and gave Rodolfo Sutil a yellow card for diving instead. Jack Harrison was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Connor Christie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Connor Christie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chisholm Rookie walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
