With a little luck, Chisholm Rookie's Danial McDermott got control of the ball when Dale Kirkpatrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Wilbert Ashby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrei Cerbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Christie, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Dale Kirkpatrick recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danial McDermott. Dale Kirkpatrick showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Danial McDermott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Kirkpatrick in the 20th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Ture Skark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrei Cerbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Christie in the 31st minute of play. Andrei Cerbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Buck, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. University of Rochester's Andrei Cerbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Dorsey in the 35th minute of play. Dale Kirkpatrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Danial McDermott made a huge save. Dale Kirkpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danial McDermott having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Maxwell Calcagnini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Danial McDermott was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
