Beto Montenegro started the match with the kick off. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hu Wei Shu in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 6th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tigran Balayan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Bülent Korkmaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Pipon Pipon and the Khachatryan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bülent Korkmaz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Castro came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Hu Wei Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Beto Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Castro in the 32nd minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Khachatryan's Merlin Castro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Khachatryan were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after C. A. Pipon Pipon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Merlin Castro took the corner. Khachatryan's Hu Wei Shu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jannes Ruttens in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens got control of the ball when Tigran Kirakosyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Beto Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Merlin Castro made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes of play, Khachatryan's Sung McKinley made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jannes Ruttens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Bryson in the 54th minute of play. Tigran Balayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catana Dinha in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tigran Balayan came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Pipon Pipon's Nicky Bryson. But to his dismay, Nicky Bryson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Khachatryan's Kurtis Wooten was substituted for Tigran Kirakosyan. Khachatryan made a substitution. Wawrzyniec Budrewicz replaced Ervin Huber. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Benito Morin was substituted for Al Whatley. Tigran Balayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhin Bishkarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tigran Balayan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Valle in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Budrewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
