If Sugar Dorman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Chris Baksh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerren Panday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugar Dorman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Anantanand Sealy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hardbargin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jerren Panday stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anantanand Sealy's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half Hardbargin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sugar Dorman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anantanand Sealy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerren Panday having to interfere. After 55 minutes, George Maxwell Moreau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lengua FC and the Hardbargin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Lengua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Maxwell Moreau to maneuver through the defense. Hardbargin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
