Ian Simmons started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Isaiah James Rowley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philmore McFarlane. The goal made the score 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Isaiah James Rowley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Philmore McFarlane, 2-0. Growling Orminston Abdulah's late challenge caught a T&T Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Growling Orminston Abdulah helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of T&T Football Club booed when Kernahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Growling Orminston Abdulah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaiah James Rowley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, T&T Football Club's Philmore McFarlane threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isaiah James Rowley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. T&T Football Club's Dennis Ames got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Simmons in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sterling Holder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Philmore McFarlane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Ames in the 33rd minute. If Lloyd Kenny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Ian Simmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sterling Holder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kernahan fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Kernahan's Ian Simmons looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind T&T Football Club's goalkeeper Sterling Holder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

In the 53rd minute, Darren Eve reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sterling Holder. The goal made the score 2-2. Darren Eve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sterling Holder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Simmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beryl Swaratsingh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Simmons in the 69th minute of play forced T&T Football Club's goalkeeper Sterling Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Eve kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Kernahan's Philmore McFarlane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Ames in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Growling Orminston Abdulah in the 86th minute of play forced T&T Football Club's goalkeeper Sterling Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to T&T Football Club getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Clive Sitahal hit a great ball. If Dennis Ames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Dennis Ames made a precise shot to the right of Philmore McFarlane. Kernahan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. T&T Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
