Sterling Holder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roaring Denoon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Piarco Falcons's Wintley Simmons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaiah James Rowley in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, T&T Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graph Imbert to maneuver through the defense. Lewis Andrew Cipriani struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sterling Holder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piarco Falcons. The T&T Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piarco Falcons were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Roaring Denoon made the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute, Wahid Toussaint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Graph Imbert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wintley Simmons showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sterling Holder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roaring Denoon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Rudolph Ramdial hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Roaring Denoon sped through T&T Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sterling Holder. If Conrad Betancourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
