Spectators: 6977 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1977, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fitzgerald Scotland took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Sherwin Ramgoonai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kieron Kernahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Moruga's zone, Sherwin Titus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sundar Montano came out of the goal and Sherwin Titus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the game, Fitzgerald Scotland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sundar Montano. Fitzgerald Scotland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, Arima's Francis Gopee-Scoon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sundar Montano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kieron Kernahan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronnie Gooljar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Arima getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Francis Gopee-Scoon hit a great ball. Sherwin Ramgoonai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ronnie Gooljar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sundar Montano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Seon Henry. Moruga's Sundar Montano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fitzgerald Scotland in the 37th minute of play. Arima's Kieron Kernahan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Gooljar in the 39th minute of play. Sherwin Ramgoonai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carson Theobald during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lloyd Maraj kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sherwin Ramgoonai to make the kick off. Fitzgerald Scotland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 58 minutes into the game, Moruga's Ronnie Gooljar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kieron Kernahan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Fitzgerald Scotland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sundar Montano having to interfere. A collision led to Arima getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Joel Ayoung-Chee hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Ronnie Gooljar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moruga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Ronnie Gooljar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kieron Kernahan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Sherwin Titus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moruga's Sundar Montano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fitzgerald Scotland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevaughn Wolfe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Arima's goal looked a bit too open when Sherwin Ramgoonai came free, but Kieron Kernahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronnie Gooljar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
