In the 5th minute, one of Orange Valley Fire:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Orange Valley Fire. In the 12th minute, Emru John Bailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Collin Whitley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tishan Shakes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Billy Sonny Ladoo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tishan Shakes got free with Billy Sonny Ladoo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tishan Shakes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Sonny Ladoo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Russel Hyland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Baldeosingh in the 30th minute of the match. Lewis Baldeosingh scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russel Hyland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lewis Baldeosingh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Point Lisas got a freekick which was hit by Manny Kernahan. Russel Hyland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Collin Whitley in the 63rd minute. Collin Whitley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Lionel Chacón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orange Valley Fire's Billy Sonny Ladoo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Point Lisas booed when Orange Valley Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Ince didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Chacón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Point Lisas's zone, Lewis Baldeosingh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russel Hyland came out of the goal and Lewis Baldeosingh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trevor Assoon's late challenge caught a Point Lisas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trevor Assoon helped the player get up and apologised. Trevor Assoon hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Orange Valley Fire's Lewis Baldeosingh got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Orange Valley Fire failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
