Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pete Theobald kicked off to start the match. Mervyn Jagdeosingh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Adams having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Dominic Adams successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pete Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pete Theobald fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curepe's protests and gave Pete Theobald a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Curepe got a freekick which was hit by Pete Theobald. After having played for 19 minutes, Mervyn Jagdeosingh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Dorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mervyn Jagdeosingh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, El Dorado's Charles Thompson got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Danny Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Ramdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Dorado's Brian Chadee shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dominic Adams but with some difficulty. The supporters of Curepe booed when El Dorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Chancellor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billy Chancellor to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Curepe got a freekick which was hit by Mojah Adams. Billy Chancellor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bhadase Goodridge's late challenge caught a El Dorado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bhadase Goodridge helped the player get up and apologised. Bhadase Goodridge hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Danny Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes of play, Curepe's Danny Joseph made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darryl Ramdin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dominic Adams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervyn Jagdeosingh in the 65th minute of the match. If Billy Chancellor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Curepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Surujpat Minshall to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Curepe's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Chancellor came free, but Dominic Adams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Chancellor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Adams having to interfere. After some careless play in the El Dorado defense, Danny Joseph kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darryl Ramdin. The El Dorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darryl Ramdin should have stopped the shot. William Greenidge's late challenge caught a Curepe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Greenidge helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curepe booed when El Dorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Greenidge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Jonathan Laronde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominic Adams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Chancellor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The El Dorado manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Curepe to win.
