Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Billy Chancellor got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Laronde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, one of Navet:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Billy Chancellor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Navet getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sugar Duke hit a great ball. Mervyn Jagdeosingh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Mervyn Jagdeosingh from a close distance when the talented Francis Beetham managed to make a qualified save. Navet's players were relieved. Mervyn Jagdeosingh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Billy Chancellor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mervyn Jagdeosinghs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Francis Beetham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to El Dorado getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonathan Laronde hit a great ball. Francis Beetham had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Billy Chancellor from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Isaiah Sammy made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Chancellor in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francis Beetham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Billy Chancellor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Beetham having to interfere. When Mervyn Jagdeosingh came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the El Dorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mervyn Jagdeosingh couldn't finish the play. Mervyn Jagdeosingh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Beetham having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mervyn Jagdeosingh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francis Beetham was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Billy Chancellor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francis Beetham. Navet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Chancellor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navet's goalkeeper Francis Beetham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Billy Chancellor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Francis Beetham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mervyn Jagdeosingh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navet's Francis Beetham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Hospedales in the 92nd minute of play. Billy Chancellor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Beetham having to interfere.
