Gerald Pollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adesh Charles having to interfere. Sanjiv Edwards scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adesh Charles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adesh Charles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Oropune Village United booed when CRIPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerald Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikela Sooklal, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. CRIPS's Adesh Charles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanjiv Edwards in the 39th minute of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sanjiv Edwards sped through CRIPS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adesh Charles. In the 43rd match minute, CRIPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trent Plummer to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Oropune Village United's Mikela Sooklal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sanjiv Edwards recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Gerald Pollard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Adesh Charles made a huge save. Adesh Charles made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gerald Pollard sent off a good shot on target. Sanjiv Edwards recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
