After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gaskynd Grant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tibures del oriente's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaskynd Grant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adesh Charles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored CRIPS's protests and gave Trent Plummer a yellow card for diving instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mortimer MacDonald to strike the kick off in the second half. Lawrence Joseph hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CRIPS's Adesh Charles got control of the ball when Gaskynd Grant tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Plummer in the 65th minute of play forced Tibures del oriente's goalkeeper Gibran Peltier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaiah Joseph, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mortimer MacDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
