Krishna Taitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sundar Glasgow went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Scarborough Town booed when F.C. Liverpool Tobago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sundar Glasgow didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Anton Phipps notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Scarborough Town's Krishna Taitt. Krishna Taitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Sooklal in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krishna Taitt saved Scarborough Town from getting behind. The supporters of Scarborough Town booed when F.C. Liverpool Tobago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tishan Mootoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes, Scarborough Town's Surujrattan Baboolal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Palaimon Gomatos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scarborough Town reached it. Krishna Taitt came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Anton Phipps. But to his dismay, Anton Phipps quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 18 played minutes Scarborough Town got a freekick which was hit by Seepersad Lewis. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Craig Callendar got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franklin Mitchell-Gift didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Franklin Mitchell-Gift made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krishna Taitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Franklin Mitchell-Gift ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krishna Taitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. A collision led to Scarborough Town getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. José Sinanan hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Sundar Glasgow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krishna Taitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After 37 played minutes F.C. Liverpool Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Frans Stenström. Anton Phipps scored 0-7 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Krishna Taitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Surujrattan Baboolal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krishna Taitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Mitchell-Gift in the 47th minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Anton Phipps made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krishna Taitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Surujrattan Baboolal was the one to do the kick off. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Tishan Mootoo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Scarborough Town booed when F.C. Liverpool Tobago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Craig Callendar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Surujrattan Baboolal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes Sundar Glasgow rounded Scarborough Town's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. After 65th play minutes Franklin Mitchell-Gift shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Krishna Taitt and just under the crossbar into goal. Krishna Taitt made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jan Sooklal sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the game, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Jan Sooklal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krishna Taitt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nyron Montano during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Scarborough Town got a freekick which was hit by Nyron Montano. Krishna Taitt had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Anton Phipps from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Krishna Taitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Phipps in the 92nd minute of play. Krishna Taitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sundar Glasgow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Krishna Taitt managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Jan Sooklal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. F.C. Liverpool Tobago played a much better game than Scarborough Town and deserved their victory. The Scarborough Town players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
