Aurelio Florian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, FC Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Florian to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Virila didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Cipriano Virila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fitzgerald Wolfe in the 16th minute. Cipriano Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Standiford String Band in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Bertie Wolfe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clyde Chambers. Chaguanas Strikers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertie Wolfe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Beltran made a kick off. Güray Altunışık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Clyde Chambers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Roy Layne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaguanas Strikers the free kick. When Lucas Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Beltran couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Nacional getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Güray Altunışık hit a great ball. FC Nacional's Roy Layne got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute.
