Spectators: 10817 (Terracing: 8114, Seating: 2487, VIP seats: 216) Dominic Connell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Chaguanas AC booed when Under 21 Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Connell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9th play minutes Winston Castagne shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Neville Mc Donald and just under the crossbar into goal. 14 minutes into the match, Chaguanas AC's goal looked a bit too open when Kern Baptiste came free, but Neville Mc Donald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Dominic Connell notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chaguanas AC's Neville Mc Donald. Neville Mc Donald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Winston Castagne charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Winston Castagne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Under 21 Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winston Castagne to maneuver through the defense. Ralph Charles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Farrier in the 22nd minute of the match. Ralph Charles was a little too slow when Trent Farrier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 29 played minutes Chaguanas AC got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Shepard. Dominic Connell scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neville Mc Donald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Jonathan Yankaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winston Castagne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neville Mc Donald having to interfere. Philmore Goddard hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Kern Baptiste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Under 21 Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kern Baptiste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Under 21 Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Winston Castagne hit a great ball. Brother St Clair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Neville Mc Donald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rex Duprey made a kick off. Under 21 Club's Kern Baptiste got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Chaguanas AC's goalkeeper Neville Mc Donald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominic Connell. Winston Castagne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neville Mc Donald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winston Castagne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Winston Castagne suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Under 21 Club made a substitution. Bas Zamora replaced Winston Castagne. In the 77th match minute, Chaguanas AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kareem Nakhid to maneuver through the defense. Cornelius Latapy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Chaguanas AC's Neville Mc Donald got control of the ball when Dominic Connell tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st play minute Dominic Connell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Neville Mc Donald. 1-4. In the 86th minute, Kern Baptiste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neville Mc Donald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kern Baptiste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Under 21 Club got a corner. Chaguanas AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornelius Latapy ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cornelius Latapy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chaguanas AC's Neville Mc Donald did a great save. Chaguanas AC's Neville Mc Donald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bas Zamora in the 92nd minute of play. Neville Mc Donald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Connell in the 96th minute. The Chaguanas AC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Under 21 Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
