Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carapichaima's Delon Assoon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Carapichaima got a freekick which was hit by Anton Baksh. Chaguanas Strikers's Krishna Bednob got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Standiford String Band managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaguanas Strikers's supporters rose to their feet, but Standiford String Band was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Tiger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Standiford String Band got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Standiford String Band who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carapichaima's Jonathan Tiger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Edward Webber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clyde Chambers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delon Assoon in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carapichaima's Edward Webber got a free kick in the 18th minute. Devant Prabhoo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devant Prabhoo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Partap to maneuver through the defense. Sundar Beckles kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Jonathan Tiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raffique Mannette, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Standiford String Bands short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jonathan Tiger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Standiford String Band sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sundar Beckles hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Chaguanas Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Rudolph Cipriani. In the 59th minute, Devant Prabhoo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delon Assoon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Tiger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Standiford String Band's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Jonathan Tiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Standiford String Band in the 68th minute of play. Standiford String Band's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Tiger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Tiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Standiford String Band in the 70th minute of the match. The throw-in from Kareem Leon in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chaguanas Strikers's André Sinanan. Krishna Bednob's late challenge caught a Carapichaima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krishna Bednob helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carapichaima booed when Chaguanas Strikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krishna Bednob didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clyde Chambers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delon Assoon in the 82nd minute of the match. When Chaguanas Strikers's Standiford String Band in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carapichaima's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Tiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Standiford String Band, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natasha Persaud to maneuver through the defense. Chaguanas Strikers were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
