W CONNECTION FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Pieler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. M. Dedy Suryana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Richard Byron came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the W CONNECTION FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Byron couldn't finish the play. In the 7th match minute, Defence Force was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Benet to maneuver through the defense. W CONNECTION FC's Denzil Bradshaw got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Pieler in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg M. Dedy Suryana saved Defence Force from getting behind. M. Dedy Suryana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denzil Bradshaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Anton Pieler made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Defence Force's M. Dedy Suryana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Chrrstine Magloire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paula Nunez kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, W CONNECTION FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Alves came free, but Roy Nakhid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anton Pieler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of W CONNECTION FC booed when Defence Force was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Napoleon Layne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Richard Byron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Pieler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roy Nakhid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrrstine Magloire in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Richard Byron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Defence Force booed when W CONNECTION FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Pieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the W CONNECTION FC defense, Rudranath de Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Nakhid. The W CONNECTION FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Nakhid should have stopped the shot. W CONNECTION FC's Roy Nakhid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudranath de Freitas in the 64th minute of play. M. Dedy Suryana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn Bell in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Glenn Bell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of M. Dedy Suryana. Glenn Bell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Anton Pieler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but M. Dedy Suryana was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Defence Force's zone, Richard Byron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. M. Dedy Suryana came out of the goal and Richard Byron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Rudranath de Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Nakhid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, W CONNECTION FC's Marquinhos Trinidad got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Chrrstine Magloire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Rudranath de Freitas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of W CONNECTION FC's Roy Nakhid. Roy Nakhid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 played minutes Defence Force got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Napoleon Layne. There was no doubt that Defence Force were the better team. Defence Force's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
