The referee showed Dennis Leslie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Dennis Leslie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacek Pyrzyce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Clyde Chambers made a huge save. In the 16th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Sinanan to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Hubert Ramkisson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clyde Chambers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iskandar Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Sinanan in the 19th minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Chaguanas Strikers's Raffique Mannette made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iskandar Seng was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Chaguanas Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Novac came free, but Clyde Chambers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Mihail Novac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clyde Chambers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 38 minutes, 郝森适 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΛΞΥΛ's supporters crossed their fingers, but 郝森适 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edgar Mortimer Emrit fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaguanas Strikers's protests and gave Edgar Mortimer Emrit a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Mortimer Emrit hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Mihail Novac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Clyde Chambers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Standiford String Band was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chaguanas Strikers! In the 62nd minute Gaffar Bozok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clyde Chambers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led ΛΞΥΛ's Hubert Ramkisson to fire away a dangerous shot which Clyde Chambers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 65th minute, Krishna Bednob made a precise shot to the right of Iskandar Seng. ΛΞΥΛ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Clyde Chambers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Pyrzyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krishna Bednob during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chaguanas Strikers's Krishna Bednob got a free kick in the 70th minute. Clyde Chambers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Novac in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, ΛΞΥΛ's goalkeeper Iskandar Seng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Sinanan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Novac in the 87th minute of play forced Chaguanas Strikers's goalkeeper Clyde Chambers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Raffique Mannette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaguanas Strikers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raffique Mannette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ΛΞΥΛ had won after a very even match.
