Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Surujrattan Baboolal took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Scarborough Town getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. José Sinanan hit a great ball. Scarborough Town's Krishna Taitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delon Assoon in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Scarborough Town's Kenneth Williams got a free kick in the 11th minute. Krishna Taitt was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Delon Assoon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delon Assoon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Edward Webber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Scarborough Town's Nyron Montano got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Webber in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krishna Taitt saved Scarborough Town from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Sinanan during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Sinanan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Scarborough Town defense, Anton Baksh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krishna Taitt. The Scarborough Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krishna Taitt should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Surujrattan Baboolal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Tiger was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Scarborough Town's goalkeeper Krishna Taitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Baksh. Krishna Taitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devant Prabhoo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Basdeo Barriteau's late challenge caught a Scarborough Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basdeo Barriteau helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Carapichaima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basdeo Barriteau to maneuver through the defense. If Surujrattan Baboolal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Delon Assoon made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Scarborough Town's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Baksh came free, but Krishna Taitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Delon Assoon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krishna Taitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes, Edward Webber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carapichaima and the Scarborough Town players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Carapichaima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Webber to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Scarborough Town's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Baksh came free, but Krishna Taitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Delon Assoon notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Scarborough Town's Krishna Taitt. Krishna Taitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Surujrattan Baboolal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krishna Taitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Baksh, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Carapichaima's Jonathan Tiger got control of the ball when Surujrattan Baboolal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Surujrattan Baboolal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jonathan Tiger made a huge save. Jonathan Tiger made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Julius Partap sent off a good shot on target. If Edward Webber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Delon Assoon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Krishna Taitt. Scarborough Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delon Assoon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 94 played minutes Carapichaima got a freekick which was hit by Devant Prabhoo. For all the effort they put into the match, the Scarborough Town players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carapichaima.
