Ypacaray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonsalve Tanasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonsalve Tanasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ypacaray FC booed when defensores del rocio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuberoa Quetara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, defensores del rocio's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Autran came free, but Celestino Mazo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Mazo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celestino Mazo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Autran in the 27th minute of play. Celestino Mazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonsalve Tanasio in the 28th minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Autran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of defensores del rocio booed when Ypacaray FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Autran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Autran in the 56th minute of play forced defensores del rocio's goalkeeper Celestino Mazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 60th minute, but Celestino Mazo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving defensores del rocio hanging dry this time. In the 61st match minute, defensores del rocio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomez Surco to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Martin Autran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ypacaray FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Autran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Mazo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonsalve Tanasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Mazo having to interfere. Rocio Guau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eufrasio Loma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to defensores del rocio getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gomez Surco hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Autran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Mazo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Justin Asturias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocio Guau having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Esquipula Ocomardia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Ypacaray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Asturias came free, but Rocio Guau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Asturias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rocio Guau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eufrasio Loma came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the defensores del rocio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eufrasio Loma couldn't finish the play. Esquipula Ocomardia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Asturias in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rocio Guau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ypacaray FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
