Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciriaco Balanzuela had several of the Sotera's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Garikoitz Hervias as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Quyyndy FC's Tomi Arruda got a free kick in the 16th minute. Quyyndy FC's Siro Alarcon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frisco Ursueguia in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sotera's Henric Ambrosio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jonatan Riero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Garikoitz Hervias firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 31st minute, Eyague Salto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quyyndy FC's Ciriaco Balanzuela got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garikoitz Hervias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Riero in the 36th minute of play. Guillermo Broz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Siro Alarcon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sotera's Maurino Posadillo got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Sotera's Garikoitz Hervias got control of the ball when Jonatan Riero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Sotera got a freekick which was hit by Henric Ambrosio. Ciriaco Balanzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Hervias having to interfere. Ciriaco Balanzuela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garikoitz Hervias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Sotera's Garikoitz Hervias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Sotera from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frisco Ursueguia to strike the kick off in the second half. Sotera were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Quyyndy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Americo Cayado took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sotera's corner Americo Cayado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Siro Alarcon quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sotera's goalkeeper Garikoitz Hervias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jonatan Riero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurino Posadillo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sotera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 65 minutes into the match, Sotera's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Balanzuela came free, but Garikoitz Hervias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Quyyndy FC's goalkeeper Siro Alarcon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Broz. Guillermo Broz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Siro Alarcon made a huge save. Garikoitz Hervias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Riero in the 71st minute of play. Siro Alarcon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Broz in the 74th minute. Henric Ambrosio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jonatan Riero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Hervias having to interfere. Feliz Belloso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Frisco Ursueguia came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sotera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frisco Ursueguia couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Broz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Alarcon having to interfere. Frisco Ursueguia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Siro Alarcon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quyyndy FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sotera for a fine match.
