Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) Ypacaraí FC's Zacarias Torralbo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Iturbe AFC got a corner. Zacarias Torralbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Zemario Barrantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th play minute Tirso Viñas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ignacio Hermosilla. 1-0. Albino Giral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Giral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zemario Barrantes having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Ypacaraí FC's Zacarias Torralbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zemario Barrantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 24th minute, Florencio Manzano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zemario Barrantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Zemario Barrantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zacarias Torralbo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Zacarias Torralbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zemario Barrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Zacarias Torralbo put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Zemario Barrantes. After 43 minutes of play, Ypacaraí FC's Zacarias Torralbo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zemario Barrantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Zacarias Torralbo made a precise shot to the right of Zemario Barrantes. Iturbe AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Disappointed in the 1-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tancredo Turres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ypacaraí FC's zone, Tirso Viñas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Hermosilla came out of the goal and Tirso Viñas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ypacaraí FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florencio Manzano hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ypacaraí FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Hermosilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iturbe AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ypacaraí FC the free kick. Zemario Barrantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Torralbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Ypacaraí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavies Roldan to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Ypacaraí FC's Zacarias Torralbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zemario Barrantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zacarias Torralbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Iturbe AFC's goalkeeper Zemario Barrantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ypacaraí FC booed when Iturbe AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llope Grado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ypacaraí FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
