Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Resto Coronel took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ciriaco Azpiroz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Maroma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Azpiroz couldn't finish the play. If Costante Panero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Emperanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resto Coronel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Azpiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Maroma's Lixandro Seto got control of the ball when Costante Panero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Justo Teza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resto Coronel in the 42nd minute of play forced Porvenir FC's goalkeeper Albino Emperanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justo Teza made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Porvenir FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciriaco Azpiroz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcelo Verastegui hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Costante Panero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lixandro Seto having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Porvenir FC's Mazuste Reve broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ciriaco Azpiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Albino Emperanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porvenir FC's Albino Emperanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resto Coronel in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Justo Teza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvenir FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Teza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lixandro Seto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costante Panero in the 74th minute of the match. Resto Coronel succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Costante Panero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Teza in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lixandro Seto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maroma had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
