In the 19th minute Fernando Olaisola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuhaitz Viñaspre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Nueva Estrella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Olaisola to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Vilas was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Piorno Diana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Piorno Diana really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nueva Estrella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Urti Arriba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Vilas was a little too slow when Urti Arriba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Oñaederra to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Wilfredo Manzanal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Urti Arriba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andate a dormir vos's supporters rose to their feet, but Urti Arriba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Vilas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chumo Proaño kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Berdaitz Rego sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Vilas skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Vilas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Andate a dormir vos booed when Nueva Estrella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Manzanal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andate a dormir vos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
