When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Duarte Trasgallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adrio Curueño to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes into the match, Jhugua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pio Lamarta came free, but Celipe Arozamena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jhugua FC's Madaleno Mendecute got a free kick in the 16th minute. A hard shot 18 in the game by Berart Dorrego from a close distance when the talented Adrio Curueño managed to make a qualified save. Pasto AFC's players were relieved. If Berart Dorrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Duarte Trasgallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pasto AFC's Adrio Curueño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrio Curueño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berart Dorrego in the 26th minute. Pasto AFC's Adrio Curueño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Pasto AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute of the match Pasqual Rulan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celipe Arozamena skillfully saved the ball. Goyo Cachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berart Dorrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Trasgallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrio Curueño having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Goyo Cachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goyo Cachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Leocadio Moral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Berart Dorrego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jhugua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berart Dorrego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrio Curueño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes Pasto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pio Lamarta. Ilazki Lidon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adrio Curueño. Pasto AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goyo Cachon in the 74th minute of play forced Jhugua FC's goalkeeper Celipe Arozamena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paio Lavalle hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jhugua FC's Celipe Arozamena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goyo Cachon in the 84th minute of play. Erlantz Posse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celipe Arozamena having to interfere. Vicemte Nogueira's late challenge caught a Pasto AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pasto AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
