Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavion Egaña started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bixintxo Sisalde in the 3rd minute of play forced Iturbe's goalkeeper Blasco Rosser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zacarias Juarez fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iturbe's protests and gave Zacarias Juarez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Zacarias Juarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Bixintxo Sisalde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorpresa AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute, Roldanillo Santervas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavion Egaña in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batista Hompanera saved Sorpresa AFC from getting behind. After having played for 12 minutes, Gomez Cerredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iturbe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gomez Cerredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sorpresa AFC's Batista Hompanera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sorpresa AFC from getting a goal against them. Gomez Cerredo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Batista Hompanera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturbe. 31 minutes into the game, Sorpresa AFC's Bixintxo Sisalde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blasco Rosser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monico Iturmendi in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blasco Rosser saved Iturbe from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Iturbe's Xavion Egaña in the 38th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Batista Hompanera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sorpresa AFC through an amazing save. Bixintxo Sisalde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xavion Egaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bixintxo Sisalde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristo Cachon fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Sorpresa AFC's Indalecio Ruesga tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Batista Hompanera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gomez Cerredo in the 60th minute of the match. Batista Hompanera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomez Cerredo in the 65th minute of play. Xavion Egaña took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batista Hompanera. Batista Hompanera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gomez Cerredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Batista Hompanera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Blasco Rosser, was totally fooled by Sorpresa AFC's Indalecio Ruesga, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Stefano Santibañez's late challenge caught a Iturbe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefano Santibañez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute Iturbe were awarded a corner. Romildo Bacete went to the cornerflag to take it. Romildo Bacete made a great header on Iturbe's corner, it was just that Sorpresa AFC's Batista Hompanera managed to reach the ball for a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sorpresa AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
