The audience was convinced that Berenguer Cisneros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gai Taboada was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berenguer Cisneros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ospetsu Astudillo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimiro Jene. 74 minutes into the match, AS Virgo's goal looked a bit too open when Egoi Arana came free, but Gai Taboada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Ospetsu Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Omero Zotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gai Taboada having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AS Virgo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
