Donato Reig stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ticho Lin. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago FC's zone, Oalo Anievas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ticho Lin came out of the goal and Oalo Anievas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ticho Lin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faron Tejeria hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Lonzo Gondorillas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nevada Perdomo. Lonzo Gondorillas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Lonzo Gondorillas's late challenge caught a Laureles AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lonzo Gondorillas helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Santiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Lonzo Gondorillas. Lordi Albornoz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Nevada Perdomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lonzo Gondorillas in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Leheren Paternina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ticho Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oalo Anievas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ticho Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oalo Anievas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Lonzo Gondorillas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nevada Perdomo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Nevada Perdomo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Leheren Paternina sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lonzo Gondorillas to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertol Escalera got free with Ticho Lin in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oalo Anievas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ticho Lin having to interfere. Vasco Sancho let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 57th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Nevada Perdomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leheren Paternina in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Bartoli Suazo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santiago FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laureles AFC the free kick. A collision led to Santiago FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bartoli Suazo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Santiago FC's goalkeeper Ticho Lin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Sancho. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Vasco Sancho sped through Santiago FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ticho Lin. In the 81stth minute of the game Lonzo Gondorillas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laureles AFC's Nevada Perdomo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureles AFC's Oalo Anievas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Sancho got free with Ticho Lin in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Santiago FC's Lonzo Gondorillas in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
