Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) Demetrio Llaria started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Itaugua booed when Natalio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Guisla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Itaugua's Cesario Arin tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dubardo Ludeña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Serafo Busquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Llaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remicio Echave during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Remicio Echave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cruz Farran struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Serafo Busquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Natalio. 25 minutes into the match, Itaugua's goal looked a bit too open when Dubardo Ludeña came free, but Serafo Busquet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Llaria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vimaro Ilardia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Oliverios Sustaeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaugua and the Natalio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliverios Sustaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Demetrio Llaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaugua's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Llaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vimaro Ilardia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vimaro Ilardia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leoiar Acaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santutxo Ameda made a kick off. Santutxo Ameda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafo Busquet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Oliverios Sustaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vimaro Ilardia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oliverios Sustaeta came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Itaugua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliverios Sustaeta couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes of play, Itaugua's Demetrio Llaria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vimaro Ilardia was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Santutxo Ameda in the 68th minute of play forced Itaugua's goalkeeper Serafo Busquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafo Busquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santutxo Ameda in the 71st minute of the match. Oliverios Sustaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Ilardia having to interfere. Vimaro Ilardia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverios Sustaeta in the 76th minute of play. Demetrio Llaria struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Vimaro Ilardia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaugua. After some careless play in the Natalio defense, Demetrio Llaria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vimaro Ilardia. The Natalio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vimaro Ilardia should have stopped the shot. Serafo Busquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santutxo Ameda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliverios Sustaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vimaro Ilardia having to interfere. Itaugua's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
