Xeromo Urtuuste hit a great ball. Naelio Mayoral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Meendez Madama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Trubica struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Felipillo Zuya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soguetos FC. Andoni Turallos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarrell Ulibarri in the 13th minute of play forced Canete's goalkeeper Felipillo Zuya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canete's Felipillo Zuya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Trubica in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Canete booed when Soguetos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Brunati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Trubica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipillo Zuya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrell Ulibarri in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordarrell Ulibarri in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipillo Zuya saved Canete from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Ricardo Trubica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soguetos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Trubica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Canete getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Naelio Mayoral hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Canete's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrell Ulibarri came free, but Felipillo Zuya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanuco Capelo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Naelio Mayoral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Andoni Turallos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordarrell Ulibarri to make the kick off. Naelio Mayoral hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Naldo Brunati blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipillo Zuya having to make a save. Meendez Madama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferrer Avendaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Soguetos FC's zone, Ferrer Avendaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meendez Madama came out of the goal and Ferrer Avendaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordarrell Ulibarri struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Felipillo Zuya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soguetos FC. Ricardo Trubica might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipillo Zuya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Trubica ran back to his position shaking his head. Andoni Turallos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cordarrell Ulibarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipillo Zuya having to interfere. Felipillo Zuya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordarrell Ulibarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Canete's Naelio Mayoral in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soguetos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferrer Avendaño in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meendez Madama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Canete's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
