The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Pedro Recemill put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gergori Santana. After a rather tough play, Alurralde FC's Yiyo Tehas got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Celia AFC booed when Alurralde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diegotxe Cachorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Celia AFC's Pedro Recemill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gergori Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Dagoberto Ciscal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yiyo Tehas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Montes Yribarren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Pedro Recemill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gergori Santana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dagoberto Ciscal struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gergori Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celia AFC. Dagoberto Ciscal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Recemill got free with Gergori Santana in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alurralde FC's Gergori Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Alurralde FC from getting a goal against them. Gergori Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Corcoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yiyo Tehas to make the kick off. Celia AFC's Montes Yribarren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Celia AFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Celia AFC's Montes Yribarren got control of the ball when Zoilo Luaces tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victoro Lejobeitia's late challenge caught a Celia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoro Lejobeitia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alurralde FC's Victoro Lejobeitia got a free kick in the 65th minute. Pedro Recemill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Guido Indart put in a rough tackle. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Alurralde FC. Truylos Mediavilla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Montes Yribarren. 3-1. Dagoberto Ciscal struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gergori Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celia AFC. After 87 played minutes Alurralde FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Villafranca. Dagoberto Ciscal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergori Santana having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Celia AFC's zone, Yiyo Tehas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Montes Yribarren came out of the goal and Yiyo Tehas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dagoberto Ciscal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergori Santana having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Jonathan Hontoria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celia AFC and the Alurralde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Celia AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Jonathan Hontoria hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Celia AFC fully deserved thier win.
