Oskitz Caceo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Lucero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Arsenio Ortuño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sotera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irindague the free kick. After 37 played minutes Sotera got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Ortuño. 42 minutes into the match, Sotera's goal looked a bit too open when Oskitz Caceo came free, but Benicio Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hartz Agrelo to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Vedillo Trullols was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sotera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irindague the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Sotera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Irindague:s goal. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Sadurni Golpe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benicio Lucero was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Oskitz Caceo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oskitz Caceo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Sadurni Golpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Benicio Lucero made a huge save. Sotera's Benicio Lucero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sotera from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Sotera's goalkeeper Benicio Lucero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sadurni Golpe. In the 79th minute, Oskitz Caceo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
